Babysitting 101

The Winneconne Public Library will be hosting a Babysitting 101 course on Thursday, June 7th, 8 am-12:30pm. Class is limited to 12 students, and parents must register student online (see instructions, including link to website, below)

To register:
Go to the following website: – click on Classes and Events, at the lower right side of the main screen under Affinity Resources. This will bring up a list of all the classes that are listed on the website. Type in Babysitting 101 in the search window and click search – this will show all of the Safe Sitter classes offered. Click on DetailRegister to register and pay the $40 for the class.

Babysitting 101 Topics include:
-Marketing and organizing your babysitting skills
-Engaging kids of all ages
-The character of a babysitter
-First aid and Chocking infant and child rescue techniques
-Common problems babysitters face — and the solutions

*Participants must be 11 years old or older to attend this class.

Course includes a Babysitting 101 handbook. Participants are encouraged to bring a snack and a beverage. Room temperatures vary, so dress accordingly.

This program is taught by LifeSpan Educators.
