Kick off Sovereign State Days weekend, by joining the Friends of the Library on the Fin 'n' Feather Paddleboat for an evening of Winneconne pride and celebration!
In addition to 2017 marking the 50th Anniversary of Sovereign State Days, it is also marks the 150th Anniversary of the Winneconne Brewery, a brewery located right on the banks of the Wolf River, owned and operated by Winneconne residents Theodore & Katharina Yager!
To honor these milestones, Oshkosh Beer historian/author/craft beer enthusiast Lee Reiherzer will resurrect the brew from the Winneconne Brewery, with a recipe that will be historically accurate and delicious, then brewed by Dan & Patti Dringoli's Bare Bones Brewery!
The beer, through a beer naming contest at the library, will be called Wolf River Revenge, and passengers on the paddle boat will have the very first servings of Wolf River Revenge, as we journey on the Wolf River to the site of the brewery that existed 150 years ago.
Passengers on the boat will enjoy delicious Fin 'n' Feather food, beer and other beverages, as well as listen to Lee Reiherzer's fascinating historical presentation of the Winneconne Brewery and the Yagers' mark on Winneconne.
Tickets Available at the Winneconne Public Library. Cash, checks & credit card payments accepted. Group ticket rate of $60 per ticket, when ten or more tickets are purchased.
