Come to the Winneconne Public Library on the 26th, as we welcome and celebrate Appleton artist Emily Reetz, a digital artist who specializes in creating charming and heartwarming images of community landmarks and local favorites.
This is precisely what Emily has done for the Village of Winneconne, as she has created a series of Winneconne landmarks and businesses, including the Winneconne Public Library, The Well Drive-In, the Winneconne Bridge, Tiny's Sports Bar, and more! Emily will feature her artwork at the library on the 14th, so everyone can have a closer look at her one-of-a-kind creations, all the while enjoying light hors d'oeuvres and beverages.
The Friends of the Winneconne Public Library will be selling the prints at Sovereign State Days, and will be hosting a Presale at this event, selling the Village of Winneconne series of prints for the following prices:
11 x 14: $20
Presale orders can be placed that evening, and the prints will be available for pick up at the library or at Sovereign State Days.
Emily has graciously agreed to share her artistic process with us, demonstrating step-by-step, how she turns these brick and mortar buildings into the warm and inviting images that are the end result.
In addition, any business owners interested in commissioning Emily to draw their business, should bring in a photo, and she will determine feasibility and time frame. Emily does offer a $250 co-ownership option of the custom artwork, which includes exclusive use of the digital image as well as a professional quality 11 x 14 print, made by Emily.
