Live Wax Museum Preview at the Winneconne Public Library

 Wednesday May 18, 12:30-1:45 pm

Third Grade Teachers Mrs. Laurel Smaglik & Mrs. Jill Quandt will be bringing their classes to the Winneconne Public Library on Wednesday, May 18th, for a first-time special event!

The Third Grade Live Wax Museum takes place the following day at the Winneconne Elementary School and is open to the families of the students who are in the Live Wax Museum. However, many of us, who don't have students at the Elementary School, hear how wonderful it is and how hard the students work as they prepare their costumes and presentations.

For the first time, these two classes will be coming to the library to perform a Preview of the Live Wax Museum that will be open to anyone in the community. Patrons can walk to each student, and by clicking a "remote," the students, speaking as the historical figure, will tell about his or her life and experiences.

We are thrilled that this event will be made available to the public, and we would be so appreciative of the Winneconne Community's support for what these hard-working young students are achieving.

This preview will also be valuable to the students, as it will give them the opportunity to perform their roles prior to the LIve Wax Museum at school the following day.Third Grade Teachers Mrs. Laurel Smaglik & Mrs. Jill Quandt will be bringing their classes to the Winneconne Public Library on Wednesday, May 18th, for a first-time special event!
