Monday Morning Moms
Monday Morning Moms meets Mondays at 10am, now through July 27, 2009.
The program — led alternately by the library director and assistant director — is designed for parents of babies and toddlers.
The first 15 minutes is a baby/ toddler story time, with focus on language development and engaging children in stories. The last part of each session will be a free-play time for children while parents discuss topics of interest.
Speakers will appear at least once a month to discuss parenting issues such as community activities, car seat safety, nutrition, summer safety tips, potty training, and much more.
Toys and snacks for children will be provided by the library.

The classes will be held at the Winneconne Public Library from 6-7pm, on the last Thursday of every month beginning February 26, 2009. The classes will be taught by the library director.
New Computers Added
The library has two new Public Access computers!
You can use them to access the Internet, or create documents using Microsoft® Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access and Publisher.

- Business Source Complete: full text of business publications covering accounting, banking, insurance, taxes & more
- Consumer Health Complete: full-text articles from mainstream medicine to complementary & holistic medicine on topics like aging, cancer, diabetes, fitness, nutrition, and children's health
- Points of View Complete: provides help with school assignments, with essays that present multiple sides of a current issue
