For the class competition, second grade students have read more than 20,280 minutes this summer! They are in the lead, followed by fourth grade with 15,840 minutes of reading. Winneconne kids have read more than 127,000 minutes this summer!
That is AMAZING READING!! Keep up the great work! Non-second grade students still have time to pull ahead of the second graders! The library will collect reading slips for the competition up until the first day of school!
Have you always wanted to be in a parade? Why not walk, ride your bike or ride in your wagon with the library in the the Sovereign State Days parade? Just call the library to let us know that you're interested 582-7091.
Also, you can come to the library on Thursday, 14 to decorate your bike or wagon for the parade. Members of the Teen Service League will be there to help you!
The Sovereign State Days theme this year is Magic Mystery Show. All participants will receive a magic hat to wear during the parade.
