Even though book bucks are no longer being awarded, you can still turn in your reading minutes to be counted toward the class competition. The winning grade will be announced at the beginning of the school year. Members of the winning class will get to participate in an ice cream social at school!

The DJ event in the park event scheduled for Wednesday, July 27 has been moved to the Elementary School cafeteria.
Versatile Sounds will entertain us from 1:30 - 2:30 in the elementary school cafeteria, rather than at Waterfront Park, due to the rainy weather today.
We will give out the end of summer grand prizes, play fun interactive games with the dj and hand out door prizes, too! Popcorn and snowcones will be served.

For the class competition, second grade students have read more than 20,280 minutes this summer! They are in the lead, followed by fourth grade with 15,840 minutes of reading. Winneconne kids have read more than 127,000 minutes this summer!
That is AMAZING READING!! Keep up the great work! Non-second grade students still have time to pull ahead of the second graders! The library will collect reading slips for the competition up until the first day of school!
