Classes Visit the Library

Recently a number of classes visited the library to learn more about it and the things it has to offer. Kindergarteners came to take a tour. Third graders came to interview some therapy dog teams. Some classes came to check out books! One thing they all had in common: they loved visiting with Winston! Here are some pictures of Winston with the kids.

Paws 4 Reading Correction

On the Summer Reading Program Flyer, there is an announcement that Paws 4 Reading is being renamed to Pooches & Pages due to a new partnership with Compassionate Canines. Unfortunately, the partnership with Compassionate Canines did not work out. We will continue to offer the program in which children can read to therapy dogs as it has been run in the past. All the programs with therapy dog teams listed on the flyer remain unaffected, and it will continue to be called Paws 4 Reading. Thank you for your understanding.

Second Graders are in the Lead!

In our summer class reading competition, the Incoming Second Grade class is in the lead with 15,600 minutes of reading, followed by the Fourth Graders with 12,600 minutes of reading done.

Keep Reading! You still have time to bump your class into the lead for the special treat after school starts! We'll accept reading minutes for the class competition through the month of August!
