When school gets out early for teacher inservice the second Monday of every month, head to the library to watch a movie! All early dismissal movies start at 1:00. Popcorn is served up, curtesy of the Friends of the Winneconne Public Library. You can bring your own covered drink and a pillow to sit on! October's early dismissal movie features "Spooky Buddies", rated G.

Let your child read to a dog and watch their reading skills and confidence soar! Read to Maya the Pug on Monday, October 17, November 21 and December 19 from 3:30-4:30. Call to register: 582-7091.

Come to the fall story time session! This fall we are offering a choice of times, Wednesday mornings at 10 or Thursday evenings at 6:30. Story times include a variety of stories, fingerplays, songs and movement activities for children ages 3 - 5 and their families. We also offer a toddler story/ play time for children ages 3 and younger on Mondays at 10am. Call Jean for more information at 582-7091.

The library will show the first part of Book 1 of the classic television mini-series "North and South" based on the book by John Jakes. The movie will begin at 10am Friday, September 23. Coffee and donuts will be served!
